DO WHAT YOU CAN TO HELP OTHERS

We are living in world where unfortunately, there is a lot of violence, war, cruelty and corruption.

Specifically at the moment, Palestine is undergoing the largest and potentially most severe humanitarian crisis we have EVER seen. And it is happening right now. It is happening as we brush our teeth, go to work, watch TV, see our friends, hug our loved ones. It is happening now and our governments and people of power across the world are doing an absolute shambles at trying to stop it and provide support.

We must stop sitting back and doing nothing – this is unacceptable. We seem to be programmed as a society to only help or become bothered and worried about things when it directly affects us. This is a disgusting and shameful trait that we as a society hold. It should feel uncomfortable, it should be hard to talk about, it should feel like you’re not doing enough – because we are not.

We must find ways of doing something – even if it is the smallest thing.

Small changes made by many, repeatedly and over time will make a difference. Small changes lead to big ones.

We must keep posting on social media, sharing videos and posts. Share with friends, family, work colleagues, neighbours.

We must educate ourselves on the topic and the legalities so that we are aware of what is going on and know the rights that Palestinians SHOULD have.

We must keep up to date about what is currently being done, the debates and speeches and meetings taking place.

We must donate what we can to help with support aid for Palestine – do your research thoroughly and wisely to make sure your money is actually going to good use.

Attend protests and marches to show the world leaders that we stand with Palestine.

Email and contact your local MP and government or political leaders.

Use your connections and whatever means to spread knowledge.

Most of importantly we must not back down.

We must not forget about Palestine.

We must not forget about the thousands being murdered. The thousands lying in heaps with their alive family members crying over their bodies. The thousands starving. The thousands with no where to sleep. The thousands with no hope.

We must do more and we must do it now.
