NOTHING IS PERMANENT .

Buddhism describes the concept of impermanence and the cycle of dunya the best in my opinion so for more insight into this topic have a quick google of Buddhism and impermanence.

Nothing in life will last forever.

Life itself will not last forever.

Friendships, relationships, jobs, times of peace, times of stress, food, your favourite pair of shoes.

Everything comes to an end at some point.

This may sound a bit pessimistic and negative originally but really it’s not at all. The fact that life is not permanent makes every single thing even more special and important. It means we should cherish the time we have, the people we love, the things we enjoy just that bit more. Why? Because we don’t know when it will come to an end and the experiences or situations we go through may never happen again.

I believe this makes life so much more special and beautiful – as each part of our life will be so unique and different.

It also reminds us not to cling or hold onto things as they are impermanent. We should learn to let things come and go – including people, situations etc.

It allows us to experience so many different and wonderful things rather than just a few of the same things over and over.

I think this impermanence is beautiful.
