KAIZEN FOR LIFE

The world is full of people going through things that we are completely ignorant of.

As the saying goes – we can never know what is going on behind closed doors.

Therefore we should do our best not to assume, or judge or be malicious and unkind.

We may not be treated in the best way at times, but that does not mean we need to rise to the occasion and give the same back. We can choose to be kind. We can choose to speak from a place of love and empathy and understanding.

Now I’m not saying let people walk all over you – if it someone genuinely being unkind to you all the time – you should stand up for yourself and make it clear that you will not tolerate that behaviour – but this can still be done from a place of understanding and kindness. I think you will also find that if you come from a place of understanding and kindness, you point will reach much further and more successfully.

So do your best to be kind, to be understanding, empathetic, insightful and to think before you speak and take into account what other people may be going through.
