GRATITUDE GOALS

I’ve spoken a lot about Gratitude before, however recently I’ve realised I need to try being more actively grateful throughout the day. I wake up in the morning and write down the thing that pops out to me most that I am grateful for and will often be grateful at the end of my day when I reflect. However, I could be better at practicing gratitude and appreciation during day to day.

During small tasks like cleaning or hoovering, I can be grateful that I have cleaning products, a home to clean, a hoover that works, the opportunity to clean my home. There are always way to be grateful and I invite you to join me in practising gratitude on a day to day basis for things you perhaps wouldn’t dream of being on your gratitude but in fact actually do belong there.

To start me off, here is a list of things I am grateful for :

  • The heater that was lent to me keeping me warm in my cold room
  • My clothing rack that makes it easier for me to see what clothes I have and to grab them quickly
  • My bedroom – the fact it is my own and I have the freedom to do what I like in it
  • My thick curtains that help me get a better night sleep
  • My Spotify account that allows me to listen to music whenever I want and have access to all different types of things including podcasts and books
  • My furry bedding and blankets keeping me cosy and looking cute
  • My new goal setter book/diary for 2024 that has been helping me plan out each day and break down my goals
  • The better weather we have had – it feels like spring is on the way and I love it
  • The fact I have food to eat in my home and fresh water that I can drink from the tap (where I live tap water is safe and actually decent)
  • My comfort water bottle that comes with me everywhere
  • My Vinted account that has helped me gain a small bit of money back, which has allowed me to spend less money on clothes through it

There are so many things to be grateful for in this world – literally endless things. All we need to do is take a look around us.,
