Just chill out. Like genuinely chill the fuck out.
I have to tell myself this almost on the daily. It is so easy to get caught up in life – all the things you need to do, the people you need to see, the information you need to remember etc. It can be a lot for our brains to digest and our brain can be self – sabotaging.
Sometimes we just need to chill. Step back from all the thoughts buzzing around your brain and be present in the current moment.
You don’t need to have everything figured out.
The weight of the world is not on your shoulders.
Life will keep going.
You are okay. And if you do not feel okay right now – you will.
Acknowledge your stress, your anxiety, your anger, your frustration, your irritation – let it be. You don’t have to do anything with it. It can just be. And you can go about your day, still striving to be a good person and do what you need to do.
The world is not going to end because you forgot to go shopping today or didn’t have time.
Just breathe and give yourself a moment.
