I have learnt about the importance of sleep. Sleep is our number 1 healer. It can regulate blood sugar, our immune system, help us to remember our memories/things, reduce anxiety. The list goes on. The average amount you should be getting is between 7-9 hours, with 8 being the go to. Everyone will be slightly different and will sleep at different times but this is what you should be aiming for. To improve your overall well-being now and in the future, sleep is VITAL. Sleep is not for when you’re dead or for the weak – it is a biological, evolutionary NEED for humans, im afraid we can’t escape it. So start prioritising your sleep in order to live your best possible life, be the most productive you can be, the calmest you can be, the healthiest you can be.
