KAIZEN FOR LIFE

I’ve been going through a challenging few weeks with various things happening and my eyes have been opened to who has truly been there for me and SHOWN me they are there.

I’m going to start by saying – you should not have to beg anyone to be there for you, to show they care or show they love you. I repeat YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BEG.

Someone who truly cares for your well-being, your safety, your family and just everything about you will SHOW you. They will be there, you will FEEL like they are there, checking in on you, offering to do things, simply comforting you, doing whatever they can to match whatever your needs are as we are all different in times of struggle and require different things.

If someone does not or cannot show you these things then they either do not truly feel them or have some serious issues that they need to personally work on – which is not your fault or responsibility to deal with if you do not want it to be.

If someone is SHOWING you they don’t care or don’t care ENOUGH to be there for you – listen.

If someone claims to be there for you and care etc, but you do not FEEL that they do or they are not SHOWING you – their words are not aligning with their actions and that is not fair. You have to decide whether you’re okay with that.

Do not feel guilty for asking someone to care or to show they care – initially you may have to ask this of someone as we all express love differently and it may be something new to them. However, if you ask them and they repeatedly cannot or will not show it, there’s a deeper problem that they need to resolve and you will have to do whatever’s best for you.

It may hurt initially, but there are plenty of people out there who will truly care and love you and who would drop everything in a heartbeat to be there for you. They can’t come into your life if you’re still clinging to people who don’t give a fuck.

So my message to you is: people’s words should meet their actions, people will show you exactly how they feel – do not be naive – listen and there are people out there who will be exactly who and what you have been waiting and hoping for.
