KAIZEN FOR LIFE

I have truly been blessed with meeting and having relationships (romantic, friendships, family etc) with so many amazing people throughout my life so far. It one of the areas in my life where I have been so blessed and I am so grateful for.

I have experienced my fair share of family issues and hardships, however I have always had a loving family who has shown me how much they love and care for me no matter what, especially my mum – so I am incredibly grateful for them for doing so and feels very fortunate.

When I was younger (primary school), I had some good friends. I think friendships at this age are very different as you all lack emotional knowledge and maturity so friendship is based off different things. When I went to high school, in the lower years I had friends and a few true friends but didn’t develop a true friendship group until much later around year 11 until I left 6th form.

I didn’t develop true friendships until I was older, which I think is due to everyone’s emotional maturity and the fact that you don’t have to ‘pick’ your friends out of a select amount of people (school), your friends come to you.

I now have a very small circle of people who mean the world to me and for whom I would do anything and vice versa. These people better me, comfort me, listen to me, are proud of me, hype me up and love me and i am incredibly grateful for their existence and presence in my life.

Romantic relationships was much the same when I was younger – I never really let anyone in until recently and it has taken me a long time to open up but I am getting there! I am grateful for every relationship I have had for the knowledge it has brought me and the lesson it has taught me. I have also had some great friendships with males or some more slightly odd mixes of ‘somethings’ with males that have equally taught me a lot.

In conclusion, I believe that whoever’s meant to be in your life will be in your life at the exact time they are meant to be in your life for the exact right reason so I am grateful for every single person who has entered and left my life.
