KAIZEN FOR LIFE

I personally think sunrises and sunsets are two of the most beautiful things in the world. You are literally watching the start of a new day beginning – fresh with new chances, new opportunities, new experiences or the finishing of a day that will never exist again. It represents the start and the end. It also reminds us that the sun will rise again and a new day will come – where we can be and do better than the day before.

Not to mention how just insanely beautiful they are themselves without all the meaning behind them. There is something so angelic and peaceful about them – I’ve been left speechless by many a sunset/rise. I absolutely love them.

I couldn’t recommend more going on a walk, or even just waking up and sitting in your garden or even looking out your window with your favourite morning drink and just observing and admiring the beauty of a new day beginning – one that has never been and never will be again. Do you know how blessed you are to witness such a beautiful thing?

Watching a sunset or sunrise can also be a beautiful thing to do with people – friends, family, a partner. It can be a beautiful time for a wholesome or long needed chat or catch up, a time for getting things of your chest or sharing what’s bothering you, a time for sharing what’s going well in your life, a time for showing gratitude for all that you have, a time for emotions and feeling. For some reason I find having a sunset in front of you makes it all a lot easier and gives it some kind peaceful element – like yes my life may be falling apart right now but at least there is a beautiful sunrise in front of my eyes.

A few of my friends and I make it a ritual of going to watch a sunrise every so often (we never do it enough) and taking it in turns to share and get all kinds of shit off out chests. We all love it and treasure it as a special time for us all – where we’re totally together, present and give one another our full attention away from everything else. It’s a truly beautiful thing in my opinion.

Please go and watch a sunrise or a sunset.

Sunsets may be easier for you to watch because you’re probably already awake but challenge yourself to wake up for a sunrise and experience the wonder and beauty for yourself.
